MISSION STATEMENT

Warsaw Christian School trains the whole child in body, mind and spirit to be prepared for life and eternity by providing quality Christian education.

VISION STATEMENT

Warsaw Christian School students will acquire a Biblical worldview evident by faith in Jesus Christ, growth in Godly wisdom and character, a commitment to academic excellence, and a heart to serve their world for the glory of God.

CORE VALUES

The Infallible Word of God - We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).

Partnership with Parents - Warsaw Christian School recognizes that parents are responsible before God for the instruction, training and discipline of their children. Warsaw Christian School seeks to assist each parent in meeting their responsibility in a rapidly changing world by providing curriculum, resources and professional, godly instruction (Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:4).

Partnership with the Local Church - Warsaw Christian School acknowledges that the local church is the instrument established by God for the completion of His program on earth. Warsaw Christian School, a ministry of Community Grace Brethren Church, seeks to work in cooperation with local churches (1 Corinthians 12:12; Ephesians 4:11-16).

Biblically Integrated Education - Education is a quest for truth that builds a personal world view. Warsaw Christian School accepts the Biblical world view as correct and integrates the whole content and process of education with the Bible (John 14:6; Romans 12:1-2; Colossians 2:3).

The Salvation and Discipleship of Students - We value the role teachers have of introducing students to the Lord Jesus Christ and training them to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength and to walk in obedience to His Word (Luke 6:40; 2 Corinthians 3:3; 2 Timothy 3:14-15).

Christian Service – WCS is committed to developing a heart of servant-hood in all students. WCS encourages students to serve God with the gifts He has given them in order to impact their family, school, church, community, and the world.

Excellence - We expect our students and teachers to live up to their God-given potential and to be like Christ in character and behavior. WCS will strive to achieve educational excellence through creative and critical thinking using Biblical criteria for proper evaluation (Colossians 3:17 & 23).

Local and World Missions - WCS believes that local and world missions is commanded and should be supported by encouraging children to consider God’s call for them (Matthew 28:19-20).
