Parent Teacher Fellowship -PTF

The Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is an organization established for the close association & cooperation of the parents of the students, the faculty/staff of the school, and interested friends. All teachers and parents of students automatically become members by reason of their relationship to the school. The PTF shall determine their own treasury and, if it be the wish of the association, sponsor such projects as are approved by the school board. Officers nominated shall be approved by the school board prior to the election by the PTF at the annual meeting.

Objectives of PTF

1. To bring into closer relationship the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the Christian training of the child.

2. To promote the Christian standards of home life.

3. To secure an enthusiasm among parents and teachers for Christian and educational developments.

4. To engage in service projects which will aid the school in improving the instruction and in developing the facilities.

5. To honor God in all meetings, centering the entire parent-teacher relationship in Jesus Christ.

6. To promote the welfare of the children in the home, the school, the church, and the community.

7. To provide access for the board, administration, and faculty to parent sentiment on all matters pertaining to the school and to provide a place where school policies and procedures can be explained and clarified as necessary.

Officers

An officer shall be a parent or guardian of a child attending Warsaw Christian School or a teacher in the said school and shall be a member of this organization. He must have accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He shall be an active member of a church and he must demonstrate spiritual leadership. He must be willing to assume the responsibilities of his elected position or office. All nominees for officers are to be approved before election by the School Board. The officers of this organization are responsible for all activities sponsored by the Parent-Teacher Fellowship of Warsaw Christian School.
