Noah's Ark Preschool

Noah's Ark Preschool offers a flexible program to assist the child in his learning process.  Both active and quiet learning experiences are provided which promote the development of skills, social competence, self-acceptance, positive identity, and creative expression.  Additional experiences are provided that foster a harmonious relationship with the ethnic and cultural background of each child.

The children are surrounded by a Christian atmosphere of respect and loving appreciation of each person and for the wonders of God's world.  Each child is encouraged to progress at his own rate of speed toward enriched experiences, self discipline, and the ability to make choices.

The personnel for our Preschool include an Early Childhood Director, a Teacher Aide (if enrollment requires), a physical education teacher, a music teacher, and support personnel, such as School Administrator, office personnel, and a Librarian.

Some of our regular activities would include:

Free outdoor play
Creative arts and crafts
Science and nature observation
Rhythm and music
Physical fitness activities
Basic Bible concepts
Moral and manners training
Coloring and numbers
Games
Language building
Sharing experiences
Story time
Field trips
Kindergarten readiness

Noah's Ark Preschool is accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).  We are exempt from state licensing as a church (Community Grace Brethren Church) sponsored program.  Though exempt, we voluntarily commit to on-going self-monitoring for compliance with state licensing for a child care facility.
