Statement
of Faith
1..The Bible to be the inspired, the only
infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (II Timothy 3:15, II Peter
1:21).
2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons -- Father, Son
and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
3. In the deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14.
Matthew 1:23. Luke 1:35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26); His
miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3,
Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9); His Resurrection (John 11:25. I Corinthians
15:4); His Ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); His
personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11).
4. In the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for
salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, and that
men are justified on the single ground of grace and through faith alone we
are saved (John 3:16-19, 5:24; Romans 3:23; 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus
3:5).
5. In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved
unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the
resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
6. In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans
8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28).
7. In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the
Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14; I Corinthians
3:16, 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18).
NOTE: Member schools of ACSI make no distinction concerning an
individual's race or ethnic background because we acknowledge that there
can be no preferential treatment with God (Romans 2:11). We are bound to
extend our ministry to all we can reach if we are able to carry out our
Lord's Great Commission (Matthew 28:18).
Our Philosophy of Education
The philosophy of ministry of Warsaw Christian School begins with the
understanding that it is an integral part of the local church and must
support the church in the fulfillment of its commission as given by Christ
Himself.
The commission, found in Matthew 28:16-20, focuses on the person of Jesus
Christ. The disciples who saw Christ worshipped Him. On the basis of His
authority as God He gave them, and through them us, the commission to go
and make disciples who would do the same. Thus the goal is to bring each
disciple to the place where he can genuinely worship the Savior.
Christ established through His commission to the church the method whereby
this objective will be accomplished. First, a person must confess and
forsake sin, and acknowledge Christ as Lord and begin a personal
relationship with Him. Second, the believer's desire for public
identification with God throughout his life is reflected in obedience to
baptism. The discipleship process focuses on more than just
indoctrination. Christ commands His church to teach disciples a lifestyle
of obedience based on what He has commanded. The source of that teaching
is the inerrant Word of God centered on the Living Word, Jesus Christ.
Third, the process of education in the Christian school must be in concert
with the home, which is to teach children to love God with all their
heart, soul, mind and strength. This principle is found in Deuteronomy
6:1-9; Psalm 78:1-8; Proverbs 22:6; Matthew 22:37,38; Mark 12:29,30; and
Ephesians 6:4.
To teach a student any knowledge without consciously recognizing the
source and purpose of life would be dishonest with the student, therefore,
the knowledge of Jesus Christ and of the Bible become the key and
coordinating principle of education, for He is the source of all truth.
Only a Christ-centered education can have lasting meaning and can validly
prepare youth for a life of worship and wholesome contentment.
Admissions
We admit students of any race, color, or ethnic origin to all the rights,
privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available
to other students at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of
race or ethnic background in administration, educational policies,
financial aid, athletic, or other school-administered programs. Students
may not be admitted due to classroom space limitations, poor scholastic
performance, or ongoing disciplinary problems. Admission cannot be granted
until all necessary records have been turned in to the school office and
personal interview completed. Students entering Kindergarten through Sixth
Grade will be tested at the principal's discretion prior to admission. At
least one parent/guardian must be a born-again Christian.
